In Ethiopian history, Kings and Queens would eat in large areas called Elfegne. These dining halls would serve the highest quality food with the most premium food. As we carry this name, we ensure the delivery of the same service and quality that was presented to ancient Kings and Queens in our country.
With quality and culture being at the core of Elfegne, we vow to continue and grow on the legacy of Zenebech.

Among all the Ethiopian places around, this one checks all the boxes. My partner and I were in town for his job and we needed to get our fix of injera et al. before we headed back north, and this was within walking distance of our hotel. It was super packed, so we had to wait a bit to get someone to seat us, and then we ended up just sitting in the window across from the bar. We ordered a bunch of veggies (greens, lentils, beets), doro wot, and I believe awaze tibs.
This is a great spot to try authentic Ethiopian food! I have never had Ethiopian food before and had a pretty good experience here. We started with the lentils Sambusa. These are kind of like samosas, and the lentil filling was nice and flavorful. Then for our main we got the 4 meat / 4 veggie combo. Everything is placed on top of the injera bread, and we got an additional piece of injera on the side. This ended up being a little bit too much food to split between two people, so I'd recommend getting this combo if you have more people. All the meats and veggies were good though, and I liked that we had a variety of items to try.
I Went with my classmates after a conference, it was fast service and yummy meats and veggies. My only surprise was the injera (bread) was sort of cold, I expected it to be warmer. So that's the only reason for 4/5! PSA: order the derek tibs (not pictured) for sure!
Really delicious Ethiopian food! We ordered a bunch of takeout and it was still great warmed up at home (and for leftovers the next day). We had a wot dish, a tibs dish and some sambusas. Everything was really yummy, but the beef and lamb were the standouts. I so appreciated that the spice level I asked for (hot!) was made correctly because it made the food so much better and more flavorful for me. Also, the service was wonderful and quick.
